We are in August now (hello, birthday month!). Took me a while to get this post up because we had my dad’s 80th birthday and my brother is visiting, so I have been away from the computer.

This month I collaborated with The Hivery for a junk journaling night!

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! We are doing a perfume + aperitif making night on the 13th if you’re interested. It’s going to be fun. Here’s the info!

I made these postcards for everyone to fill out.

I loved watching women play together!

We painted rocks too!

To prep for the night, I made a bunch of junk journals. My family was traveling a lot in July, and I really enjoyed making a mess on the dining room table while they were gone ;)

I went on so many hikes + walks this month. Marin is so beautiful in the summer.

We worked on driving practice this month. I’ve been enjoying hanging out with Cooper in the car. It’s nice that he wants to hang out with me so much :)

I FINALLY MADE COWBOY CANDY! It had been on my summer bucket list for YEARS.

We finally got an ice maker! My brother-in-law helped us set it up. YAY.

I enjoyed making this candy spread for the junk journaling event!

We also made ceviche three times this month. Maybe I’ll post the recipe soon.

Dinner at Larry & Mary Fran’s because my in-laws were in town!

We also went to Cousin Jen’s house!!

I also went through a pesto pasta phase.

Went to Original Joe’s with Reese and Veronica after a photo adventure day in the city.

And I made a batch of berry baked oatmeal :)
