Hi, I’m Jerrelle, the writer behind The Dinner Ritual, a space where you’re invited to reconnect with your highest Self. I’m here to help you take back your time, your sovereignty, your body and mind—especially if any of these parts felt lost or siphoned during the day. Through the act (and art) of cooking, we transform ordinary moments into sacred pauses, opportunities to ground into the body, tend to our mental health, and return to our innate, God-given sense of joy. Subscribe to join the mission and receive recipes, meditations, and healing rituals that will help you reclaim your passion for life and your well-being, one step at a time.
Hello! It’s me, your internet friend, back again to interrupt your typical programming and help you break up with unhelpful definitions of success and patterns of productivity that won’t actually feed your soul so you can devote your time to building a life that does.
I’ve been working on this newsletter in chunks for you, and in it, I acknowledge how we are always, intentionally or not, putting the pieces of ourselves back together. I argue for honoring our unique processes of creation, and I share my go-to tools for leaning into our particular personalities and energetic makeups. I reflect on escapism, what true freedom is, and the business wisdom offered to me while attending a Conscious Leadership retreat with Matias de Stefano, along with a meditation for rebalancing our energy fields. And somehow, because everything is connected, I bring it all back home by sharing my current approach for cleaning the house, which I’m calling “Cluster Cleaning.” I’m serving all of this up with a slice of sweet honeybee cream cake and a fairy friendly tea blend made with homemade dehydrated fruits and herbs.
I’m returning home from the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, from a cute little beach town called Samara, after spending a week in workshop with other business leaders curious about the coming shifts in entrepreneurship as the world moves through massive shifts of its own. While some of you may know of Matias de Stefano, the king of re-membering and childlike play, I have been following his work more closely these past couple months, and not surprisingly, my heart pulled me to the edges of the Pacific Coast jungle, with baby in tow, to a place called “Heaven on Earth.”
