Hello!

The harvest is coming in, chickens are growing and will soon need to be harvested, ducks are everywhere (messy, but oh so fun to watch) - it is a busy time at Diligent Acres!

While nature is providing much opportunity to meditate on God’s creation and the blessings to be found living under His grace, being in the Word somehow solidifies those experiences into things “known”. Parables about farmers and shepherds hit deeper when you are tending flocks of your own.

With the coming of a new month, and new seasonal changes - school for some, back to work after vacation, getting settled after moving, or whatever season you are going through right now - it is a good idea to have a plan for feeding the goodness of God’s word into your mind and spirit.

If you want something different to meditate on every day - here are a few things from the archives that I hope will inspire you.

Season 2 A Woman of Valor is… 12 episodes to inspire you to see the Proverbs 31 Woman who is already inside of you

Season 5 & 6 Men & Women from Scripture Each episode is a single study of a man or woman in the Bible and the lessons we can learn from their example. Some are good examples - some are bad examples. Choose someone from the list and start a conversation with your children or friend about their story.

Here are a few of the women who come back to my mind often - they always seem to be waiting with another lesson (or a reminder of one I forgot) to encourage walking with God. Which is your favorite?

These are resources that used to be part of The Diligent Woman Shop. They, and others, now live in The Diligent Life Community to give you inspiration for your next study. Even though the images are “Spring” themed, the 18 scripture cards are another great way to encourage conversation and meditation with your children, grandchildren, or friends. Start a text chain with a scripture every other day and then share what happens in your day that connects to the scripture you shared. You might be surprised how often you find God in the little things of your day.

What other things have you been using to keep you inspired and motivated to stay diligent in this busy season?

I will keep you in my prayers for a joyous, safe, and blessed summer.

With all diligence,

Angela
