The CFDA x NY Forward Grant Fund is a grant program developed by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in partnership with New York State’s Department of State and its NY Forward initiative. Verizon in partnership with LISC is awarding $5,000 grants to 25 small businesses based in New York to help them grow. Apply by Mar 31, 2026.
The Woodman Family Foundation via NYFA awards $30,000 distributed over three years to help artists in housing insecurity stay housed and keep making work. Applicants must be 21+, have lived in NYC for at least five consecutive years, and have an adjusted gross income of $80,000 or below. Apply by April 14, 2026.
Applications are open for Blue Ridge Labs’ Founder Fellowship! The fellowship is a 20-week program designed to help early-stage founders explore bold ideas and develop them into fundable social impact ventures that drive economic mobility. Apply by May 3, 2026.
CitizensNYC just opened up applications for their Community Leaders Grant, a $5,000 microgrant to community-building projects carried out by resident-led groups to improve neighborhood life, strengthen local leadership, and scale community partnerships. Apply by July 2026.
Apply for a $1,000 Awesome Foundation Grant. The Awesome Foundation is a global community advancing the interest of awesome in the universe, $1000 at a time. Each fully autonomous chapter supports awesome projects through micro-grants, usually given out monthly. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
