I was meant to post a new piece yesterday, at least according to my self-imposed posting schedule.
But I didn’t.
As I refuse to rush The Muse.
Instead, I figured I’d share some photos of my favourite tree.
I pass this tree every day on my morning walk. And somehow, just being in its presence brings me back to centre.
I’ve learnt so much from this ancient giant.
It’s shown me that the more you extend yourself, the more important it is to keep parts of you connected to the earth.
It’s reminded me of the power, peace, and profundity of stillness.
And, as Lao Tzu once said, it has also taught me that: “Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.”
Thanks friends :)
