Access to global finance meant the right passport, the right bank, the right paperwork.
Today this is chnaging, the value is becoming programmable.
We’re moving from assets trapped within borders to tokenized real-world assets that can be priced, pledged, and settled in seconds.
Platforms like Fasset are already moving hundreds of millions per month in tokenized RWAs, from gold to Google stock.
From where I sit, having spent 20+ years structuring deals and now spending my days working with founders and regulators - the pattern is obvious:
The next chapter of finance is on-chain.
The real action is in RWA tokenization.
And one of the most important testing grounds is Dubai, where founders and regulators are actually in the same room, asking the hard questions.
The Silk Road of tokenized finance isn’t a metaphor.
It’s being laid, jurisdiction by jurisdiction, protocol by protocol, and the UAE is turning into one of its main crossroads.
If you’re still treating tokenization as a side quest, you’re already behind.
Huge thank you to Mohammad Raafi Hossain for sitting down me and making the future of RWA finance sound both inevitable and wildly ambitious.
