Untitled Designer Conference (UDC), West Africa’s biggest design conference that brings together designers, developers, founders, and creatives, will return for its fifth edition this October (2026).

The conference - which is intentionally designed for product and brand designers, engineers, founders, studio owners, and the creatives shaping Africa's future - is where real stories from the people doing the work meet practical, useful craft.

“As technology becomes more powerful, what happens to the people behind the work?” says Marvis Ighedosa, Co-Founder and Director at Untitled Designers. “Every day we are surrounded by new tools, new technology and new products. But no matter how advanced technology becomes, every meaningful product, every great experience still begins with a human being shaped by their culture, community and experiences.”

With the theme “HUMAN BY DESIGN: Where Culture, Code & Creativity Meet,” the 2026 Untitled Designers Conference will explore how culture influences design, how technology can amplify creativity and how we can build products and experiences that feel deeply human in an increasingly automated world. “This year’s UDC is about celebrating the creator and not the creation,” Ighedosa reveals.

Scheduled to be a 2-day event, this year’s conference will take place at Regal Hall, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria from Friday, October 16 2024 to Saturday, October 17 2026.

With a line up of 20+ speakers, this edition will feature hands-on workshops, panel discussions, design challenge (for a cash prize, mentorship, and forever access to UDC events), networking opportunities, and an afterparty.

“Whether you want to sharpen your craft, scale your studio, or help shape where African creative culture goes next, we're bringing you the practical tools and the community to make it happen,” Untitled Designers notes.
