Hi Cosmic Cuties and Baddies!
First, a moment of reflection for the Mercury retrograde we all just survived. That one was a doozy on every level. Personal, political, spiritual, all of it. We’re technically still in the shadow through August 9th, but the worst has passed, and honestly, good riddance. If the energy has felt wack lately, you’re not imagining it. We’re in a kind of Venn diagram-style overlap of transits right now, with the effects of the Barbault Basket, the eclipse portal, and the Cancer New Moon all happening at once. It’s a lot, but it’s a good kind of chaos if we can lean into it. Because it’s asking a valid and real question: what’s not working anymore, and where are you finally ready to take the leap even though it scares you?
As a reminder, it’s the year of the fire horse, and the invitation is to get on the horse and go. Picture yourself at 95, looking back on the summer of 2026, and find that one bold thing you did that changed the whole trajectory. Now the assignment is to go do that thing. We get one life, one body, and this season is asking you to use them. But this isn’t only about you, and that’s the real truth being taught this week. Leo season teaches you to become your fullest, most authentic self, and the Aquarius energy rising up right behind it asks you to do that in service of something bigger. So let your freak flag fly so high that your fellow weirdos can actually find you, because the world we want to build gets built together.

☾ CAPRICORN MOON: MONDAY, TUESDAY
The week opens with two grounded days of Capricorn Moon energy. We’re feeling structural and clear-eyed, so use it to take honest inventory. Look at what's genuinely working in your life and what isn't, which goals still belong to you versus which ones you're carrying out of habit, and where a real plan would serve you better than another burst of good intentions (this is solid prep for the bigger vision check-in the Aquarius Full Moon is about to ask of you). Just watch the Cap Moon tendency to slide into the "never enough" spiral or to grind just for the sake of it. This is structure in service of the dream, not self-punishment, and simplifying the load counts as progress just as much as adding to it.

☾ AQUARIUS MOON: WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY
This Aquarius Moon stretch holds the Full Moon on Wednesday, making these two days the emotional and energetic peak of the entire week. The vibe is community, vision, authenticity, and liberation. These are days to be your most radical, specific, unapologetically weird self, to connect with the people who get you, and to check in honestly on your vision for the year and the values sitting underneath it. Let your most authentic self be seen. However, Aquarius energy has a way of tipping into detachment or acting unbothered when you're actually very bothered. Remember to remain tuned into your heart even as you zoom out to the bigger picture.
REST AND RECEIVE
☾ PISCES MOON: FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY
The week closes with three soft days of Pisces Moon vibes. The energy turns dreamy, intuitive, porous, and the channel is wide open. So rest, integrate, and let yourself actually feel. Pay close attention to whatever floats up, because the Full Moon downloads are still arriving on a delay. Practices like water rituals, journaling, and card pulls all land beautifully on these days. Just keep your inner voice kind this weekend, since a Pisces Moon tends to make everything you tell yourself land deeper than usual.

Last week, Mercury stationed direct on July 23rd, then the North Node moved into Aquarius and Saturn stationed retrograde in Aries on the same day (7/26). Now the Aquarius Full Moon on July 29th acts as the culmination point of the whole Barbault Basket that’s been building since July 20th. And this is no ordinary Full Moon. The Moon in Aquarius sits conjunct Pluto and opposite the Sun in Leo, which is, at that moment, also fused with Jupiter in a cazimi. This meeting of the Sun and Jupiter in Leo only happens once every twelve years, with some calling it the Day of Miracles. It’s genuinely one of the most Leo-hearted, expansive, lucky days of this entire year, and it also lands exactly six months after the Aquarius eclipse back in February (that kicked off the year of the fire horse in the first place). This makes it a natural checkpoint: is your vision for the year still true, are you living in alignment with your values, and who around you deserves to be celebrated or called in more? If there was ever a day to remember exactly who you are, shoot your shot, and live a dream out loud for the pure love of the game, Wednesday is it.
Underneath that headline is the deeper story, which is the North Node moving into Aquarius for the first time since 2007, opening an eighteen-month chapter that runs through March 2028. The nodes aren’t planets, they’re karmic threshold points, and the North Node always represents the stretch, the growth edge, the assignment that asks for your participation. The Aquarius North Node is going to call all of us to actually care, to stand for something, to genuinely invest in our communities and the causes around us. The people who thrive in this cycle will be the ones who own their most authentic, weird, specific selves and also give a real damn about other people. But the trick is that you have to do it through the Leo heart. This isn’t being weird for weirdness’s sake, it’s claiming your own liberation so you can hold clear space for everyone else’s.
So what do we actually do with all of this? We remember that fun, joy, creativity, and self-expression are strategies, and we anchor into that sacred party girl-energy not as a distraction but as fuel. Because the new systems worth building have to be built from rest and warmth rather than grind. A huge piece of that is choosing community over content. Plot twist: social apps are not communities. Think of them as a stage you’re standing on, or a party you’re throwing — a great place to activate and meet people — but a real community is a circle, with reciprocity and accountability and actual participation rather than one person broadcasting. So if you’ve only been building a community online, go find your people in-person at a library program, a food bank, a meetup, or an industry group. And if your in-person world feels a little small, go find your fellow weirdos online. And wherever you can, choose collaboration over competition. Reach out to someone at your same level or in your same field this week and actually collaborate, or simply leave a genuine comment on their work, and let that transmute any old jealous energy into connection.
The thing the universe is trying to drive home is that this was never about visibility for attention’s sake (because attention doesn’t equal impact). Being witnessed is the final step of the healing journey, and social media is just the arena where we practice showing up authentically so we can do it everywhere else too. The South Node now in Leo is asking us to reexamine celebrity culture and the pedestals we build, not because being seen is bad, but because you don’t grab the microphone unless you’re ready for the responsibility that comes when people actually listen. So the question to carry out of this enormous week is simple: are you ready to be seen and, if so, who are you doing it for?
