What’s notable is that the reputation checks out beyond the tagline: independent UK comics outlets including Pipedream Comics and Comic Book News UK have reviewed Jamie Me’s flagship “Start Again” series favorably across multiple issues, praising artist Toni Doya’s linework and Jamie Me’s distinctly British dialogue. This limited two-week campaign bundles the full B-Mecha catalog, none of it available anywhere else. Adult content — 18+ only.

Today’s real story isn’t a genre or a goal-setting gimmick — it’s that the two NSFW picks in Comics I Like are, on paper, the most professionally pedigreed campaigns in the entire slate. THE ESCORT #4 is curated by Ralph Tedesco, the Zenescope co-founder who built Grimm Fairy Tales into one of the best-selling dark-fantasy franchises of the 2000s and 2010s, alongside Pat Shand, whose résumé includes Marvel’s Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, Disney’s Villains and Adventure Time, and IDW’s Charmed. B-Mecha’s Jamie Me has run more Kickstarters (52) than most publishers run in a decade, and the flagship Start Again series has picked up genuinely positive independent reviews from Pipedream Comics and Comic Book News UK — praise aimed at the art and the writing, not just the premise.
