I've missed you all and can't wait to return to my blog stories. I have a running list with plenty of content, but you'll have to wait a few more weeks. Turns out, writing, editing, and publishing a book is just the beginning of the hard work. Networking, marketing, and speaking takes up the author's time on the back end.
But boy, is it fun!
In the past six months, I've met dozens of readers and enjoyed book fairs, author talks, interviews, book store appearances, and book club discussions.
I was invited to stay as the official "first guest" of the incredible Bookhouse Hotel at Faunbrook and received a bronze medal in the Historical Fiction Company's 2024 book awards. I've experienced the thrill of seeing my novel on the local bookstore and library shelves.
