Four days celebrating the global impact of the genre Chicago invented. Thursday kicks off at Daley Plaza Farmers Market with DJ sets from Nosha Luv, Cratebug, and Martin Boogieman Luna (11am–2pm), followed by the Chicago House Dance Summit at the Chicago Cultural Center (4:30–9:30pm) with a family-friendly house dance class, documentary screening, and fireside keynote conversation with legends Jamie Principle, Steve “Silk” Hurley, and Shannon “Skip” Syas from S&S Records. Friday: House Dance Summit continues at the Cultural Center (noon–5pm) plus conference panels on vinyl culture, AI in music, and financial literacy for artists. A festival celebrating Bronzeville’s legacy and Black Chicago through performance, art, and community.
