Tips on Moving Through the Airport Quickly, plus a gift for Paid Subscribers

As you know, I travel a lot AND I like to get to the airport right on time! Because I travel close to 100 times per year, I simply cannot manage to get the airport two hours before my flight, it sometimes happens, but rarely. I arrive one hour before domestic flights, with checked bags and 1 hour and 15 minutes before international flights with checked bags.

Some consider my arrival time to be late, but as long as the plane is still there and the boarding door is open, I am on time. The reason I show up to the airport when I do, is because I have a variety of things to help me move through the airport faster. Here are a few tips!

1. Airline Loyalty: Because I am very loyal to Delta and its SkyTeam partners, I always check in at the priority lane, this is generally shorter than the other lanes. When I am flying a non-Delta airline, I usually buy a first or business class ticket to access this privilege.

2. TSA PreCheck Touchless ID: This is a newer program that is accessed directly through your airline, it allows you to get through security a little bit faster because many people are not yet using it. This can save a couple of minutes.

3. Clear+: Clear+ is a service that I have been using for year’s as it used to be a perk of my Delta loyalty so I was an early adopter. They operate in 62 airports and some stadiums so can definitely save you time. I have five passes available for a complimentary two months of Clear+ and I am offering them to my paid subscribers first. If you are a paid subscriber, traveling in the next three months, reply to this email with a screenshot of your flight and I will send you the pass. If there are remaining passes after two days, I will open it up to free subscribers!
