Happy Monday!
I am officially back on the road. After three weeks without getting on a plane, I’m moving back into Catch Me If You Can mode. (Side note: Do you watch my airport IG stories? Some people call it their favorite show!) With the upcoming launch of the Catch Me in the Kitchen Supper Club and my book soon to be on pre-order, I’m unlikely to see my bed in Detroit more than two weeks per month for the next year!
I just returned from a quick trip to Chicago to get a taste of James Beard Award vibes. While I didn’t attend the Awards show, I got to mingle with a lot of old friends and made many new friends. Moving into the culinary world, I was a bit trepidatious, but people have welcomed me with open arms and everyone seems genuinely excited about my book! I didn’t take a lot of pictures, because I was enjoying myself too much, but I grabbed a couple!
I’m back in Detroit for less than 48 hours, then heading to Disneyland for the first time! From there I am back in Detroit for ten hours then flying to DC to host a dinner with Chefs Pierre Thiam and Rock Harper as part of DC”s Eat 250 Celebration. I’m so excited about the menu and I will be revealing my book cover for the first time publicly there!
