The St. Louis Cardinals minor league system was 1-3 on Thursday. The Cardinal Nation’s Player of the Day, Springfield RH Chen-Wei Lin, pitched four scoreless relief innings with three strikeouts. Other standouts: Colton Ledbetter, Nolan Gorman, Tanner Franklin, Rainiel Rodriguez, Jalin Flores and Trevor Condon.

Springfield Cardinals Notebook – 2026 Week 20

The first-place Double-A Cardinals went 4-2 on the week, led by top prospects Liam Doyle and Rainiel Rodriguez. Doyle has allowed two or fewer runs in eight straight starts. Rodriguez hit .550 for the week, increasing his streak to 11 games.

Cardinals Minor League Notebook – August 20, 2026

The St. Louis Cardinals system was 2-2 on Wednesday. TCN’s Players of the Day are the Springfield offense, which scored 12 runs. Leaders were Ryan Campos, 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored, and Tai Peete, 3-for-6 with three RBI. Other standouts: Thomas Saggese, Rainiel Rodriguez, Liam Doyle, Sammy Hernández and J.P. Cabrera.

Other standouts include Victor Scott, Yhoiker Fajardo, Jack Martinez, Caden Ferraro, Branneli Franco, Sebastian Rojas and Diego Conseción.

Peoria Chiefs Notebook – 2026 Week 20

The High-A Chiefs dropped the home series to Beloit, before losing the series opener at Lansing. OF Yordalin Pena started his Peoria tenure on a tear, hitting .345 with two home runs through his first eight games.
