Our newest anthology, Tarot, is dropping on August 20th. Each of us was dealt a random Tarot card, and we had to write something inspired by that card.
No trades were allowed once the cards were pulled. The deck told us what we were gonna write.
The interactive horror stoy, The Butcher Block, has changed ownership since the brilliant brain behind it has moved on to greener pastures. Unforunately this means it will no longer be updated by The Butchered Writers.
It hasn’t yet gotten settled into its new home, but as soon as it does I will drop a link letting you know where you can find it so you can continue your journey through the Cosmic and Folk Horror journeys and keep deciding where the path will go.
We have a serial novel(la?) in the works.
We don’t have a title for it yet, and want to have a few chapters built up before we begin, but the image above is a hint of what’s to come.
Every Friday, group member Danny hosts a live reading of horror stories on TikTok. Some are from our anthologies, other are from various other indie-authors. Its always a good time. Join us every friday 7cst 8 est @DL Garvin
Every other Saturday, one of us will host a Butchered Writers Live event. These also happen at 7cst 8est, but they don’t have a dedicated TikTok home as of yet.
