I’ve been getting a lot of questions over the past couple months about the nitty-gritty details of how I wrote Girl Gone Wild, and my answer always boils down to the same thing: classes, workshops, deadlines, accountability, and people expecting pages from me.
One of the most crucial elements of turning my chaotic slew of memories and essays into a cohesive book was taking a year-long incubator.
That is what kickstarted my journey AND helped me finish a draft that ultimately helped attract my publisher.
So I’m very excited to announce that I’m teaching a year-long Memoir in Essays Incubator via WritingWorkshops.com starting June 16th.
