It started at the Current Affair show. First, I dressed up in my new skirt because my daughter insisted and who am I to say no to a 3 year old in a sparkly dress?! After driving down Laurel Canyon (which she calls a ‘spooky forest’), on an overcast morning, we walked in and I had to learn how to corral her and fight my way through the racks at James Veloria. I ended up with a CDG cargo skirt, JPG leather jacket, and Vivienne Westwood tank.

Vivienne Westwood tanks- all on sale! - 1, 2, 3, 4

We walked around for a bit longer and I added a fresh Jil Sander white button down to my haul along with another leather jacket.

My next round of secondhand buys were online and sponsored by my Real Real store credit (happy 15th of the month to all who celebrate). A Prada leather skirt and tube top. TRR is where I source about 90% of my Miu Miu and Prada clothes. Reminder to utilize their saved search tool!

And lastly, my dear friend Hey Mrs. Solomon on Style came into town and we popped into Scout where I got a cropped tee and sleeveless sweatshirt (my least expensive purchases around $30 each).

The Net sale was so good it was daunting, but I snagged this Versace skirt and vest immediately. I walked away from this Martine polo at Dover Street because it wasn’t my size, but luck was on my side and I found it on sale later.

There are exceptions to every rule, so here’s a breakdown of the full-priced goods. This Staud set was a last-minute bachelorette panic buy I was certain I’d return — very incorrect assumption by me. The Tibi Winslows were full price and I have zero regrets. The “almost” is also there because Rachel and I had a little too much fun at Dover Street- see video below for the haul.
