According to Joe Rogan, Joe Rogan knew how to handle the Covid pandemic. He knew that lockdowns were a bad idea, that masks didn’t work, and that the government had no clue what they were doing.
Not only that, Joe Rogan knew how to treat Covid-19. Forget the medical professionals, doctors, virologists, epidemiologists, public health officials, and ongoing clinical trials.
Rogan had an intuition that ivermectin worked because, well, he spoke to some guys on his podcast about it.
There is a chance in some alternate universe that Rogan’s prescriptions for a global pandemic were correct. But we’ll never know, because Rogan didn’t have to run the government while a novel virus was killing millions of people. He didn’t have to treat Covid patients in overrun hospitals, or provide public health advice that he could be held accountable for. He was not responsible for synthesizing complex, often contradictory scientific studies and presenting them to the public.
