the lunar nodes shifted into aquarius — the misfits' time has come. here's what it means for your sign.

helllooo from hawaii!! i'm writing to you today from my favorite place on earth, the island that raised me: maui. i’ve been in full family mode, swimming in the ocean with the kids every day, going down the same water slides i did as as a kid, adventuring the island and being as present as possible. also, it’s jonathan’s 40th birthday trip so we’ve been celebrating him and ringing in his next decade!

but i'd be lying if i didn’t tell you that i am feeling full to the brim with writing that wants to burst through me—thoughts and musings and astrology deep dives, fiction and memoir and a million things i want to share, yet i am trying to practice the art of relaxing on vacation and knowing that the writing will always be there. the life of a creative is a constant push-pull of diving into life with full presence, and feeling the tug of wanting to create at the same time.

that will be my next post, because i have sooo much to say about it, but for today i’ve been dying to write to you guys about the lunar nodes that just shifted for the next 18 months. this isn’t just any nodal shift, this is my native nodal placement, so i have a LOT to say… aquarius north node, leo south node! which means that the collective basically just got handed all of my most potent life homework. and now i can teach you guys a thing or two about what it’s been like to move through life as an aquarius NN. ;)

let me tell ya, i am excited because this is the ERA OF THE WEIRDOS!!! the more out there, the more authentically you, the deeper coded you are into who you truly came here to be, even (and especially) the shadowy and most eccentric parts of you, the better. these are the people who will come out on top over these next 18 months, especially because we are operating in the new paradigm. and especially because this is during the CERN shutdown!!!

unlike jupiter, venus, mercury, sun, moon, etc., the north and south node are not planets. they’re not even physical objects, actually. they’re more like mathematical points, a.k.a the spots where the moon’s orbit crosses the sun’s path from the lens of earth. and when it comes to reading your birth chart, they are known as the single most fated, regarded, karmic axis points in your entire chart.

the nodes are always opposite from one another on the zodiac wheel. while the south node is where you’ve already been and the stuff that comes easily to you in this lifetime, the north node is the opposite. it’s your growth edge, your soul’s actual assignment for this lifetime, the unfamiliar yet completely resonate life’s work you step into more and more as you grow. it’s where expansion lives—it’s where you’re meant to be heading, even when the south node is whispering “just go back to what you know.”

so with that, let’s get into what the next 18 months will look like for each of you, based on your north node. we’ll break it down below, and i’ll tell you more about what living as an aquarius north node, leo south node has looked like for me, what kind of “life homework” assignments you will be handed over the next 18 months if i had to guess, and of course i’ll give you the exact blueprint to follow to come out on top, manifesting your highest and best as we head into this fresh wave.
