Today I went to visit my friend Jemma’s studio to see what new pieces she’s been cookin’ up. I am a HUGE JEM fan (previously Lykke Wullf) and have been loving her pieces since 2015! I still have the first chore coat I bought from her over ten years ago - it is well-loved and is still a part of my rotation. She recently came out with the most darling pointelle set in various colors.
I have the heather floral set and omg it’s so comfy and cute! I can’t wait to mix and match :-)
After visiting Jemma, I rushed back home to get ready for an Ellis Brooklyn event. I first discovered Ellis Brooklyn back in 2017 or 2018, when I bought their RROSE perfume from a store called The Apartment by The Line on Melrose Place. That boutique was iconic, if you remember it! I still get compliments every time I wear RROSE, but on this night, we were celebrating the launch of Isla Sirena (think beachy coconut and lime, mmmm).
