It’s a difficult job market out there, and older generations sometimes have a hard time appreciating how things have changed.
That being said, the only thing you have under your control is your effort and attitude. Even during an industry contraction, like what’s happening now, Hard work and a positive attitude is more likely to land you a job than the inverse.
