OpenAI just cut the price of its best model by more than 20% for the next three months. Meanwhile Adobe shipped music, voice, and sound effects into Firefly for real, GPT-Image-2 learned to output transparent PNGs, and Black Forest Labs built an upscaler that regenerates 480p video at 4K.

OpenAI dropped developer pricing on GPT-5.6 Sol, its top model, for the next three months.
