This week opens with a legal earthquake: Apple is suing OpenAI for allegedly stealing hardware secrets through more than 400 former employees.

Meanwhile Meta launched and then partly pulled its new Muse Image generator after creators revolted, and Google Photos can now turn your phone clips into watercolor paintings in seconds.

Apple has filed a federal lawsuit accusing OpenAI of systematically stealing hardware trade secrets through more than 400 former employees to build its consumer AI device.
