Last week, I shared a jacket I designed for a friend to gift her husband (Glen) for Father’s Day.
He finally received it, and she captured the moment on video. You can watch it below. It was such a beautiful surprise and a reminder of how design can leave a lasting impact.
After talking with Glen from Beleaf in Fatherhood and hearing from many of you asking if the jacket would be available, we’ve decided to release a limited run of just 50 jackets. With Glen’s blessing, this collaboration is now official.
A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Glen to support the incredible work he’s doing for fathers, especially Black fathers. This truly feels like a full circle moment for me. I used to watch Glen’s YouTube videos back in college. His journey through fatherhood taught me so much, and now that I’m a dad, I feel more equipped because of people like him.
this is probably my favorite part of designing the jacket.
I recorded voice saying “I love you” and designed it in a way that fits the jacket design.
