Introduction

Valkyrie is a relatively new brand to the PC DIY market. I first heard of it in 2024, and was surprised to find the brand is based out of Cyprus in Europe. We have covered several Valkyrie products before on TechPowerUp, and I had the pleasure of seeing them all in person at Computex earlier this year. There were three people setting up the booth—despite shipment delays, of course—and yet they took the time to walk me through everything in detail and were extremely eager to take feedback on upcoming products. I learned then that the people behind the brand have been in the industry for nearly two decades, and the goal was to prioritize product R&D, manufacturing, QA/QC, and customer support over marketing.

The current PC fan market likely has more RGB offerings than those without any LEDs whatsoever. The inclusion of RGB LEDs allows for easier customization of lighting in your PC build, allowing you to color coordinate with the rest of your components. It is a given that a PC brand that focuses on cooling would thus offer RGB fans too, and today we examine the Valkyrie B12 120 mm fan. It comes in two color options of black and white, and Valkyrie claims this is a performance-optimized fan with high static pressure which should make it suitable for DIY watercooling. Thanks to the company for providing review samples to TechPowerUp, and let's begin with a look at the product specifications in the table below.
