Gamdias Notus M1-1201 ARGB 120 mm Fan Review

Introduction

Gamdias is a PC brand that has been around since 2012, with a focus on gaming as suggested by the very name—the letters GAM stand for Gaming In Motion. We have covered several Gamdias products before on TechPowerUp, including gaming keyboards and mice, and have more recently examined CPU coolers and cases too. With an increasing product portfolio, Gamdias is aiming to offer most products needed for a system build. Today we look at a case fan, and thanks to Gamdias for providing a review sample to TechPowerUp.

This review is of the Gamdias Notus M1-1201 ARGB, not to be confused with the Notus M1-1201 that has been reviewed separately. As the names suggest, this is an ARGB version of the other fan. Also, if you read that review then you already know that Gamdias would have a Notus M1-1203 ARGB which is simply a triple pack version of the same fan. But wait, there's more—this ARGB version comes in black and white colors, with the white versions named Notus M1-1201 WH ARGB and Notus M1-1203 WH ARGB respectively for the single and triple pack SKUs. There is currently no non-ARGB white color version, but suffice to say this isn't the most succinct of naming schemes. The Notus M1-1201 impressed with its value offering, so let's see if the ARGB version follows suit in this review which begins with a look at the product specifications in the table below.
