We're Launching Labari Data 2.0 On August 17

We launched Labari Data a couple of weeks ago as an experiment.

The current Labari Data lives as a set of standalone datasets — the Africa VC Directory, the Ghana SOE Directory, and a few others — each with its own page and its own way of doing things.

It was useful, but it felt a bit “disconnected”

That’s changing.

Instead of hunting for separate pages, you’ll land on a single dashboard that organizes every dataset by sector — People and Networks, Government, Events — with live data and clear signals for what’s coming next.

• African Women in Tech - Directory of women in Africa in tech

• Events - List of interesting upcoming events in Africa

• Ghana Parliament DB — MP biographies and records

• and more

We’ve also rebuilt the design from the ground up — a cleaner, more focused interface built for people who actually want to work with the data, not just glance at it.

The new 2.0 is launching with a pro tier for users who want deeper access — CSV exports and more — but the core hub will remain free to explore.

Free users will still be able to view most data hubs, but some sections will be restricted to Pro users.

The new Labari 2.0 will launch on Monday, August 17th
