Undisputed #2 update: surveys went out, so we’re collecting email & mailing addresses now. Francesco is finishing up colors on the last couple pages, and then the whole book is getting sent to Marco for lettering and prepress. We’re still “on time” for a November delivery.
I’m still trying to process my thoughts on this campaign, and whether or not it was a success. So I’m not ready to put my thoughts on paper and do a post mortem yet (if you’re interested, Adriano Ariganello does great post-mortems on all his campaigns). And, I forgot to mention earlier, I won’t be attending Southern New Hampshire Comic Bash, as previously scheduled. I do sports announcing on the side, and got offered a gig that day from a company that I want to work with more. So I couldn’t turn it down. Sorry to friends & fans up in Nashua.
All that aside, I wanted to remind you that my first anthology contribution is currently live on Kickstarter. Sightings: A Bigfoot Comic Anthology has 9 days to go, and is currently at $2632 of $4000. It’s from Lonely Lemming, who did the game “Pass-a-Fist” back in 2019. The book has 10 stories from 15 creators, and each story is a different take on Bigfoot.
Mine is called “One Way Ticket”, and starts at about 30,000 feet above the Pacific Northwest with another PNW legend, D.B. Cooper…
The Lonely Lemming team is putting together their contingency plans, in the event that the book doesn’t get funded. They’re committed to getting this book out there, and I’m looking forward to seeing it in print. Reward tiers start at $8.
