Happy summer! If you’ve done an amazing teacher travel opportunity of ANY kind recently and want to spread the word to help a broader audience, feel free to contact me to learn about how to be featured in TeachingTraveling.com!

To fund classes like this, check out Andi Webb’s ever-growing list of educator grants for organizations like Fund for Teachers, and also seek out hyper-local opportunities. If you’re interested in advancing your language skills, immersion classes for a week or more can make a huge difference. This article discusses logistics, pros and cons, and costs (surprisingly affordable!) of taking Puerto Rico Spanish classes, drawn from a recent first-hand experience. It also offers suggestions for other countries and classes that might be a match, depending on your goals.

I hope these resources are helpful, and I’ll send new opportunities soon. Remember that if you want to share your own recent funded PD experience, you’re welcome to reach out to Lillie@TeachingTraveling.com and I’ll be happy to give you interview instructions to be featured on TeachingTraveling.com.

Best,

Lillie Marshall
