Hi, Tatsu Community!
It has been a while since our last update. We have been collecting your feedback and building from it. As promised, we wanted to give more ways to count participation beyond chat and showcase communities’ unique personality. We also want to make the process easier and in one place: the Discord Activity.
Moderation, notifications, leveled roles, your economy, chat-activity rewards, terminology, and blocked roles used to live scattered across separate pages. They are all inside the Lobby Dashboard now. Open the Tatsu activity > the Dashboard (middle statue on your lobby) to access them. You can see new statues and buildings related to various functionality.
As the name suggests, this is the tool for building your own custom branded furniture inside the Discord Activity. It is still under testing so creating an item is free. Every server can make up to 5 custom items by opening Activity > go to the menu on the top right to add Trailbuilder to your Lobby or through Dashboard.
A new type of customization has arrived and it brings a new type of profile system. Your Tatsu passport shows who you are and which community you are from. Decorate your profile with stickers, a new item type that uses your local and global badges. You can also easily change your wallet, level up, profile, and rank cards background from inside. You can also flex various new stats from within the passport. To customize it, go to Activity > top right Menu > Passport.
PS: Your existing wallet, rank card, and level-up card carry over, so none of your progress resets. More stickers will be added in the future!
Server quests were previously limited to Tatsu’s Lounge. With this update, servers with an active Server Subscription can create them too. You can create a quest that matches your community and reward members with server points or your own custom furniture, up to two rewards per quest.
How to set up your server quests for community owners and moderators:
Make sure the server has an active Server Subscription.
Open the Activity inside said server and head to the Dashboard menu at the center.
Go into the admin section and choose Server Settings.
Under the Engagement category, you can see the Manage Quests tab.
Set a name, description, action type (now including voice activity), occurrence, and pick rewards from the available item pool.
Members now can see the quest under the Quests menu inside the Activity.
Community Cards is now closer than ever; you can even try to customize by changing the card background and frame. The card will contain the Tatsu characters, rarity, and various stats.
For Tatsu's Lounge, we're testing the collection and drop system so it might be unstable. Collect cards to endorse other players and gain points. The other players will receive popularity points as more and more people collect their card. To collect cards, join drop events that happen every 30 minutes with a small chance of getting a featured member. All of these drop events will happen inside the # 🌟・tatsu-raffle channel for now.

Alongside the Community Cards, coming soon is the new holistic Leaderboard that will showcase the most active members within the community. It will take the activity score in a weekly, monthly, seasonal, and all-time cadence. Seasons are currently introduced as a 2-month window. There are 2 Leaderboard categories added in this initial release: Popularity and Collector. All servers using Tatsu can see it but the new Activity stats, voice chat and reaction, currently tested in Tatsu's Lounge only and might appear unstable.
🐛 Fixed the cosmetic salvage flow throwing an error instead of completing.
☑️ Clarified the compendium tab labels.
🐛 When adding a feature to the lobby through the “More” menu on the top right, the feature appears under the Dashboard statue in some cases, which makes it covered/hidden. You can move the Dashboard statue via “Edit Layout” on the bottom right to see the added feature.
🐛 When creating a server quest with a custom item reward, in some cases the reward icon and name change into something else. But the correct reward should be given when a member completes said quest.
🐛 Scaling issue when minimizing the Discord Activity window on the Collection screen.
🐛 The Community Cards and new Leaderboard might appear broken in some cases.
