Its funny when you become and do Tarot, it works its magic throughout all aspects of your life. I find myself when amongst like minded friends saying - I’m feeling a bit you know 4 of cups or I’ve a funny feeling about this you know it has a 7 of sword vibe about it…… now with my morning drink I have named it my Ace of Cups ritual. It now works its way throughout my life as a spell, a spell of Self love.
Every morning I have been making an infusion of hibiscus, cloves, ginger and if I have it, lemon or lime juice, added all together making an Ace of cups card appear in my mind.
I then feel the energy of the Ace of cups and this heart holding drink bringing love to me. I feel the combination of the energies holding my heart and healing the wounds, the overspill where none was left for me and bringing in new energy that expands bringing me more than enough energy for me and spilling over into my day so I have enough to give and love my world again.
Ginger brings in that ace spark the light that awakens energy pushing me forwards, knowing love will conquer all.
The taste and earthy spell of the cloves bring the mystically witchy feeling into my energy empowering me and reminding me I am magic!
And the lemon a cleansing and refreshing zest of energy.
All together they have become a living tarot card a blend of magic. Reminding me of our connection to the divine and to Mother Earth and everything begins with love. It has become a ritual bringing me back to love, connecting and open to receive.
To be in flow for the day, open and loving and trusting all that comes is meant for me and met with love.
My Ace of cup reminds me that the most important relationship I have to invest time and energy and love into is the one I have with myself and its now time to pour into my own cup, before others.
As I still the combination in my cup I still in my affirmation for the day - I am love, I am peace and know that ‘I’ve got this’ for the day.
Magic exists we just have to slow down and remember to create it, with our everyday rituals and intentions.
What will yours be today?
Ps I add a small handful of hibiscus, 3 or 4 cloves and a few slices of ginger and a splash/squeeze of lemon or lime. If you make your own please research if this is the right drink for you as it can lower blood pressure and can interact with medication
