Happy holidays!
As this year wraps to a close, our family is spending the holidays in a pet-less home for the first time in a very, very long time. Our dear cat Izzy passed away last month after 16 years of being our best girl, and we feel that emptiness every day. She lived a good long life, but it’s never enough time.
I particularly am having a hard time living in a home without pets. They add such joy in so many ways (even when they’re eating plants and poking you in the head because they’re hungry). I definitely see kittens (yes, plural) in our future, but we haven’t found the right ones yet. When we do, you can be sure this newsletter will be overloaded with unbearably cute photos, so stay tuned!

A story that will make you think twice about lending your house key out to pet sitters.
A tale about a woman who becomes obsessed with the guy who might’ve murdered her coworker.
