Jeffries once co‑sponsored Medicare for All but now says he opposes it while taking more health‑insurance PAC cash than any other member of Congress—a reminder that “fixing” a system that lets insurers deny lifesaving treatment is not the same as replacing the racket with health care as a human right.
When politicians depend on corporate cash, health insurers get protected, people like Forrest VanPatten get denied lifesaving care, and regular Americans pay with their health, their homes, and their lives—because profit is always the priority in a bought‑and‑paid‑for government.
Jennings aired a heavily edited 41‑second mashup and falsely claimed Hasan Piker wanted Black voters lynched; Snopes found the clips were stripped of context and out of order, and Piker says a defamation lawsuit against Jennings and Salem Media now appears unavoidable.
