Dear Friends,
I don’t have a story today because it’s super hot outside and my brain is fried. Also, because I’ve been drawing all week instead of writing.
So instead of a story, I’m giving you another exclusive peek into my picture book in progress. Where it’s cold and dark but otherwise the general feeling of unease and uncertainty is kind of the same.
If you’re curious, you can see more images from this project in my previous posts, here and here
Till next week,
Tanya
The Wrong Globe is a newsletter about language, culture, and identity from the most complicated place on Earth, written by a Russian-born, Israel-based essayist and linguist raising two trilingual kids.
If you’re disillusioned by the current state of humanity, but still secretly hope that curiosity can make the world a slightly less horrible place, this space is for you. Welcome.
If you enjoy reading the Wrong Globe (even when I share a picture instead of a story) please share it with friends. Or if you're a writer on Substack, consider recommending The Wrong Globe to your readers (Dashboard > Recommendations)
