Find other Cystic Detective Updates in the Table of Discontents.
Morris Pigeon thought it was a evening like any other, but that impression was about to come to a swift end. Walking down the wet pavement he spied a seemingly disinterested woman dragging along a huddled mass that looked more like a grocery store spill than human. He attempted to look the other way.
“You!” a voice croaked.
Morris’ eyes darted to the source of the entreaty: A festering boil of man who half-clung to the arm of the now exasperated woman.
“I’ve seen you in a vision,” the mass implored, a blotchy hand outstretched. “Can you tell me your name?”
Moira pulled at the Cystic Detective. “This is exactly why I found you passed out in a boiler room. Do you think this is effective investigation?”
Morris Pigeon scampered away, though knew this encounter would leave a stain—a blot on his mind that remained as though a burn hole in old paper.
