Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in discussions about AI in Hong Kong. Engaging with the logistics industry is always great; the real magic happens when AI meets domain expertise.
Understanding workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement through data analytics is crucial, as this makes the difference!
One key challenge in logistics we face is bottlenecks. They disrupt operations, causing delays and driving up costs.
To tackle this, we have developed software for automating bottleneck analysis in collaboration with Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals (HACTL), the largest logistics terminal in the world!
Our solution integrates machine learning algorithms to provide real-time analytics. It automates the identification of bottlenecks within the warehouse and offers 3D visualizations to enhance operational insights.
I’m still amazed by the sheer volume of data they handle daily. In the case of HACTL, we can save up to 350 hours of operational personnel while standardizing and automating the identification and resolution of logistics bottlenecks using AI.
