On Devotion, Faith, and Physics: A Frequency-First Lens

First, let me start with something that probably sounds like a contradiction.

I love Jesus. I also love physics — and spirituality, whatever that means now, and higher consciousness. I even wrote a whole book citing people I’m about to complicate. For years I lived inside a world that told me those things couldn’t fully coexist — that at some point you’d have to choose which one you trusted more. Or felt safest with. I have refused that choice. And in refusing it, I found something I wasn’t expecting: there is so much physics embedded in sacred text that it stopped being coincidence, and began feeling like instruction.

In fact, it reads like code.

We just keep missing it.

Here’s what I want to ask before I go any further:

Can’t we have devotional practice and still love science? Can’t we believe and also question? Can’t we be okay with someone praying for us without filtering a good intention through a lens that’s been completely destroyed by cynicism and indoctrination? Can’t we seek without being condemned? Can we like a post without being converted into a marketing funnel for Christ?

And the answer is, YES!

Where is our devotion to something greater these days? What are we really connecting to in the work that we do? Not the performance of it. Or the mistranslated language of it. The actual weight of it.

I ask because something happened in the spaces I used to call home. The hidden knowledge, occult, energy, polymath, psychic-lore and frequency communities… Something got swapped out so slowly and so cleanly that most people inside it didn’t notice.

I didn’t notice the distortion for a long time until now. So I’d like to offer a higher resolution image of those communities now, and I think you deserve to see it clearly.

I cited them. I built frameworks alongside their language. I used the word “field” along the same lines that they used it—with challenge. I talked about intention, wrote about energy, resonance and coherence in ways that were, in retrospect, adjacent to something real but consistently missing a deeper truth; standing dead center in something greater without believing you’re God. Now I see a clearer view in how this rhetoric has become its own distorted eco-chamber.

This is the hinge.

That’s what I want to talk about. Not whether the physics is real, it is. But what happens when you take real physics and quietly strip out the thing that gives it direction, origin, and meaning. What you’re left with is mechanics void of creator intelligence. And mechanics without a source will always eventually serve whoever controls the frame.

I started noticing the seam when I asked a question that felt almost too simple: what do these so-called teachers actually believe? What “field” are they talking about, and where are they leading people?

There isn’t “one field.” There are endless fields operating at different scales, different frequencies, with different functions — quantum fields, electromagnetic fields, morphogenetic fields, bioelectric fields. The assumption that there is a single undifferentiated field of consciousness that you simply tap into by raising your vibration enough is where the mistranslation lies. If the field were undifferentiated and access were purely a matter of frequency elevation, the system would have no inherent directionality. It would expand into sameness. You don’t raise your frequency, you resolve what’s influencing the drop.

This is what the undifferentiated field model can’t account for: a system with no external reference point will phase-lock to whatever is most coherent within its own frame. The logic stays lateral — self-confirming, self-referencing, mistaking the stability of the loop for truth. The identity doesn’t expand. It iterates then consolidates around its own distortion and calls that expansion.

That is not access. That is a closed system with fun and sparkly vocabulary.

Unity of source is not the same as undifferentiated sameness. Physics holds this clearly. Quantum field theory describes multiple distinct fields — each with different properties, different particles, different functions — all coexisting within one universe. They interact. They don’t collapse into each other. Electromagnetism and gravity are not the same field. They are unified at the level of physical law, not at the level of identity. Even quantum entanglement, which produces genuine non-local correlation between particles, preserves distinction. Entanglement is a relationship, not a merger.

The physics argues against undifferentiation. What unification theories like the Standard Model seek is not sameness but coherent relationship between genuinely distinct forces and fields: unity that preserves distinction rather than erasing it.

Which maps precisely onto the theological claim: one source, irreducible distinctions, coherent relationship between them.

Actually, the undifferentiated field isn’t even good physics. It’s a spiritual intuition about unity that borrowed scientific language without following the science to its actual conclusion.

The science says: distinct, relational, coherent.

So does the Trinity. Hold that.

What we actually observe, biologically, psychologically, spiritually, is a system built around oriented seeking. But moving toward gnosis of what is actually there.

And then I started noticing what else had been quietly replaced. Discrediting became sensationalized content, without credible sourcing. Long time gnosis influences became authorities in topics they didn’t fully understand. Polymaths became the next Da Vinci; secrets of the universe unlocked, you are a slave! Remote viewers became government assets.

Whereby prayer became intention; God became the field. Creator intelligence became mechanical resonance. And perhaps most telling: we are all God, not sourced from God, not expressions of God, not fractals of divine intelligence, but equivalent—Lateral.

That last move is the one that broke something for me.

Here’s what I want to clarify. Are we made in the image of, yes. That language holds distinction and dignity simultaneously. It places our humanity inside a relationship with a source that remains genuinely other.

Psalm 82:6 — “ye are gods” — is a delegation of authority to human judges, not a declaration of ontological equivalence. The Hebrew Elohim there refers to those granted divine mandate to administer justice. It is a functional designation, not a metaphysical or literal one.

We were never being told we are God. We were being told to act with accountability to one.

But that precision got hijacked and mistranslated. And now my feed is feeding me this nonsense and my head wants to pop off my body.

What has replaced it is a closed system sophisticated enough to feel like access: more forbidden knowledge, more gnosis, more dot-connecting, always more — serving the self while calling it awakening.

That is like watching a map reading a map of itself with no external anchor.

So now, we’ve entered into the great illusion: that complexity is depth. That unless we connect certain dots, we will stay asleep and are doomed.

A friend sent me a video of a popular polymath performing what I can only describe as an occult ritual, taking instruction from his AI companion on how to conduct a base-12 framework ceremony to install the “Annunaki breath.” The people following him were holding hands, standing in uniform—arranged in the shape of a Merkabah, being “activated.”

What in the actual f*ck is that?

How is this any different than satanic offering? Same power exchange, different direction.

Here is what they got right: frequency is real. Resonance is real. The nervous system responds to fields it cannot consciously perceive. Coherence — physiological, emotional, cognitive is measurable and trainable. The body is not separate from its environment. Intention does organize matter at certain scales. These are not woo. These are documented, replicable, peer-reviewed findings.

Here is what got stripped out: who originated the field? What is the field’s nature? Is it neutral, intelligent, responsive, relational? What is the difference between tapping a mechanical void and actually communing with creator intelligence? Where is that felt? Where is the intelligence being pulled from?

Where are people getting their information? Who was the first documented example of performing miracles that this lot claims is available through them? Where are these “healed people” now?

The version of spirituality being sold in these quantum and occult spaces treats the field like a vending machine with a charge at the door. Simply activate your 9th chakra and the field delivers, instantly. No relationship with the divine required—You are the divine, remember? No embodiment required; astral project instead. No pattern collapse through reconciliation either. Where is the nervous system integration? They promise you a map, but give you dependance on them instead.

That’s not physics.

That’s transactional cosmology dressed in scientific language. With no accountability.

It’s giving daily tarot affirmations with a Pinterest board. Which is fine. But is that helping you feel more peace, or the illusion of more control?

I spent a good part of my TikTok era caught between two camps; physicists who went viral dismantling New Age claims, and the New Age, galactic federation remote viewers, spell casters, and quantum entanglement conflationists’ they were dismantling, trying to prove their validity. Both sides were fighting over the wrong thing: context. The physics is real. The conflation without the complete picture is the problem.

For example: John 17:21-23— Jesus prays that believers “may all be one... just as you, Father, are in me and I in you... so that they may be one as we are one.”

And notice how convenient that framing is in non-discerning eyes. If the field is neutral, it has no ethics.

Both camps are operating inside closed loops, from different views.

Physics constrains itself through mathematical formalism. The framework is internally rigorous, self-referencing, and by design cannot admit what falls outside its own measurement criteria. It can describe the aspects of the universe with extraordinary precision and still have nothing to say about origin, meaning, or relational intelligence. The loop is logical. That doesn’t make it open. And when things are quantum, no one understands anything. Even graduates in the field, at best, spread their enthusiasm-as-ignorance and curiosity elsewhere.

The consciousness community closes its loop differently — through lateral equivalence. If everyone is God, the structure has no outside. No accountability, no genuine other, no reference point that exceeds the system. The logic confirms itself endlessly because there is nothing external to challenge it.

Two different constraints. The same structural problem.

What breaks a closed loop isn’t better logic from inside it. Or more knowledge. Or a seance. It’s a reference point that exists outside it entirely. With an entirely different anchor.

I’m not suggesting everyone teaching in this space is operating with deliberate intent to mislead. I am suggesting that the architecture of the ideas itself functions to separate people from a relational connection to God, greater than them, who actually originated the field.

Notice what moved when the vocabulary shifted. Not just language. Access.

Here’s what faith looks like when you put it through a frequency lens.

But first, a clarification: frequency-first doesn’t mean what the quantum field teachers mean when they say it. They use frequency as a tool — something you optimize, elevate, and deploy to produce outcomes. Frequency-first, as I mean it here, is an epistemological claim: the signal precedes the story.

That is what is actually happening in a system — biologically, neurologically, relationally — whether or not the narrative layered over it is accurate. You read the frequency before you accept the interpretation. That’s the lens.

In physics, phase-locking is what happens when two oscillating systems begin to synchronize. The smaller system doesn’t overpower the larger one. It entrains to it — gradually matching the rhythm, frequency, and patterning of the dominant oscillator. This is measurable. It occurs in neural synchrony, cardiac rhythms, circadian biology, social coordination, and in organisms adapting to environmental conditions.

Faith resembles a phase-locking event more than a cognitive one.

It perpetuates possibility. Not belief as intellectual agreement, but a nervous system organizing around coherence with something larger than itself; a stabilizing orientation toward meaning, order, and source.

It is a resonance condition, not a performance one.

This becomes especially interesting alongside neuroscience research on contemplative and spiritual states. In Why God Won’t Go Away: Brain Science and the Biology of Belief (2001), Andrew Newberg and colleagues used brain imaging to study prayer and meditation, finding measurable shifts in neural activity associated with attention, self-boundary perception, and emotional regulation during deeply spiritual states. Whether interpreted theologically or biologically, the implication is difficult to ignore: coherent orientation changes the system.

Hebrews 11:1 frames faith directly: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

And 2 Timothy 1:7 names the inverse condition: “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Interference has many names: fear, unresolved pattern, identity organized around separation, chronic stress, trauma conditioning, survival identity mistaken for self.

When the system is dominated by noise, coherence becomes difficult to sustain. When interference decreases, what was already attempting to organize can finally stabilize.

Faith is not manufactured through force. Or through osmosis. It’s cultivated through direct contact.

You’re meditating, great. But what are you praying to?

This is where religious compliance gets it wrong and the field teachers get it wrong in a different direction.

Religious compliance tells you faith is an obligation. You believe because you should. Or else!

You practice because the system demands it, trading sovereignty for the perception of safety. Whereby control, fear and doubt become the baseline of a generational identity. The whole infrastructure is built around effort directed at an external standard, and the nervous system always knows when spirituality and virtue become performative — and begins quietly withdrawing from what it cannot trust.

That’s the difference between the field teachers and what I’m pointing toward. They relocated the authority inside the individual only and called it sovereignty. What I found, after years of building frameworks at this intersection, is that the most coherent signal I’ve ever accessed didn’t originate in me. I was just finally quiet enough to receive it. Remember it. And begin operating from it at its center.

Performance and resonance are not the same thing. You cannot perform your way into phase-lock. A coherent field cannot be fooled. That is divine discernment.

The field teachers understood this, partially. They knew the performance model was broken. But their solution was to relocate the authority inside the individual — you are the source, you generate the field, you create your reality through your thoughts. But it’s still missing the relational dimension. Verticality! God centered. Without that dimension, the practice becomes self-referential, constantly reiterating within the same bandwidth of potential. Which means you’re just getting better at harmonizing with the limited version of yourself.

Devotion as a tuning practice means something different. It means attending to what aligns your mind, body, and spirit as a complete system, not what amplifies the self only. It means asking what actually settles the nervous system. What produces coherence that persists. What leaves you more clear and grounded. Not staying in mentalism.

The difference between tuning to a field with no source and tuning to a field that already knows your name.

This is not a relativist claim. It’s a discernment one.

You can hold correct doctrine and be operating at a frequency that produces fear, contraction, and defensiveness in everyone around you. The language is right. The commitment is there, but the nervous system is running survival. That is not a frequency anchored in faith, that’s theology recruited into the service of the self’s protection.

Real coherence is distinct. It doesn’t prove or be convincing. It doesn’t collapse under disagreement. The nervous system recognizes it before the mind has formed an opinion.

This is what religious compliance consistently misses: you cannot perform your way into genuine presence. The box checked, the attendance taken, the virtue signaled, none of it produces the thing it claims to produce. And the people sitting in the pew next to someone actually oriented in God’s grace know the difference, even if they don’t have language for it.

And those observing the crystal cult of spiritual elitism, can sense that something feels off too.

Doctrine matters. Anchor matters. But the intelligence underneath the information being shared with us is what’s actually moving — or not moving — in a person. That’s readable.

We can feel when something doesn’t feel like it’s nourishing us anymore.

Here is how you tell the difference. Not by the vocabulary someone uses, or their confidence in delivering their message. It’s what their presence actually produces in you, and those around them. Fear, contraction, defensiveness, and the need to sell you on their ideas are readable inprints. So is genuine stability. If something feels off, trust that.

That’s discernment. It applies in both directions; to the field teachers selling transactional cosmology and to the religious compliance model recruiting orthodoxy into self-protection. Are they producing the future potential they’re promising?

The Return

Where is our devotion to something greater?

I don’t think the answer is a return to religious compliance. I don’t think the consciousness and forbidden knowledge spaces have it right either — not in the form they’re currently distributing it.

We need a new center of gravity. One that anchors us into embodied, slower, and more meaningful living.

There is a frequency of devotion — something the body knows, the nervous system recognizes — that has been present in every tradition that ever produced real transformation. And it keeps getting systematically displaced by every system that wants to be the thing you’re devoted to.

Religion wants your devotion measured against its value structure. The consciousness industry wants your devotion tied to your own potential. Self-oriented. Constant expansion in other dimensions except the one we’re actually in. For you to become God — not made in the image of, but actually God. Neither of these is the same as devotion to something greater than you; Oriented around, not above.

What gets you close to God is not complexity. It’s not the most sophisticated certification or academy. It’s not the influencer with the largest reach, or stadiums full of people jumping around connecting to Arcturians. It’s not demystifying the mystical.

It’s the quality of your attention. The honesty of your question. The willingness to let something greater enter your field and stay with it.

It’s small, mundane moments. Can you be grateful with God holding the version of you that gets everything she wants and the version who gets nothing, in equal measure? Is peace enough for you?

That’s what devotion offers. Not guarantees. Space.

I love systems, the mechanics of how they work and how we operate within them. But I also love physics, faith, and Jesus. And you can live inside these contradictory states without dissolving into a groupie, a joiner, or a cynic.

After years of building frameworks at the intersection of them all, here is what I keep finding: the simplest physics points toward the simplest theology: An intelligence that animates everything is relational, not mechanical.

I used to think all I needed was my highest self. Which is a lever at first. But the highest self is simply a translation kit — a receiver, not the original source. And the quality of that reception requires something the self-optimization industry never asks for: humility. Not as a virtue to showcase online. As a structural requirement. You cannot tune to something greater than yourself while insisting you are it.

Stay curious. Not with your mind — with your heart.
