Taishi 🇯🇵🇨🇦 · From Japan to the world: Building a profitable product

Hey, this is Taishi here!

I’ve decided to document my weekly updates here as well as on Twitter.

This week was Marketing Week (and Onsen Week lol)!

This week I tried to create as much content as I could and publish it to the internet.
Due to a trip to the hot springs, I was not able to do much.
(I’m gonna put a bunch of pictures of my Japan trip at the end of this article if you are interested ♨️)

Reddit didn’t work well, and I think this is bc r/gmail is a very inactive subreddit.

The newsletters are getting opened (39% OR is great I think), but the conversion rate isn’t quite there yet.

I still don’t understand how LinkedIn works lol.

My tweet to promote my newsletter didn’t get as many views as always and I assume that’s bc I put an external link on the tweet :/

Anyway, next week is Coding Week, I’m gonna implement a fine-tuning feature to Supabox!

I’m a hot spring junky, I love them too much and that’s why I don’t have any tattoos.

I visited Beppu, Oita, Japan.

Beppu boasts the highest number of hot spring sources in Japan, with chimneys scattered around the town, releasing steam from the springs.

drinkable hot spring! You pay 10 yen (7 cents) and drink it! Btw it’s supa hot
love Ryokan dinners
Private bath. Pay 2000 yen ($13) for 1 hour. It’s worth it.
Inside these small buildings on the left, hot spring minerals are produced.
beautiful

Did you know I make music? This is an ambient chill track I made last week.
If you are interested :)
