Good morning, friends! Happy Friday and happy almost weekend! I’ve been in North Carolina this week visiting Brandy and it has been so fun. She’s coming up next week to visit me and I’ve got a whole slew of things we’ll be doing and the weather will be phenomenal so I am stoked!
I had the day off on Tuesday and we went to downtown Apex and went to get our color analysis! I had been wanting to do this for a while and while I had an idea of what season I was, I wanted confirmation…and I was right! I’m a winter! I get to keep my blacks and greys, haha
After work on Wednesday, we went to see Freakier Friday, the sequel to the 2003 (!!!) movie, Freaky Friday. It was so funny and so good. I still can’t believe it has been 22 years since the original movie. It honestly feels like yesterday. Also, the theater we went to was so bougie and the seats we got were called ‘lux boxes’ and they were private double seats, cushy, reclined back, and even had heated and cooled seat settings. Even better than Alamo Drafthouse. Now I’m going to want to only go to Paragon theaters lol
Ugh the COVID vaccine madness is causing so much confusion. Apparently in VA you can’t get one unless you get a prescription. Luckily for me, I’m in NC and currently there’s no stipulation about it and I also have an autoimmune so I qualified to get one. We went to get ours and I haven’t had any side effects like I usually do. My arm is very very sore though. I’m grateful I was able to get one…we’ll see if insurance covers it since now they have a reason to not thanks to the new guidelines.
I’ve been looking for new jeans and we went to try on some trendy barrel leg jeans and omg, I look ridiculous. I think I look better in straight leg jeans so I think I’m going to order some from Quince. These are the ones I’m looking at but I can’t decide on which wash. I’m between three of them. If you have any jean reccs, please let me know! I am typically a Madewell girlie but they’re $$$$$ and I want to be ballin’ on a budget, LOL
