Let’s get into the lyrical poetry:

WIND

The Wind blows

I feel the Ancestors talking to me:

Follow me where the wind goes

In a blindfold

The shadow’s dark but they keep me company

The Wind is saying to let go

But I just got back my wings

In fact, they’re still in slings

What if I’m too weak to fly?

What if I’m too weak to FLY?

I locked myself inside this chrysalis

On the fix

Now the healing’s done — emerging from the thick of it

I’m coming out

The Wind follows

I hear the Ancestors — know they got me

Am I scared of the windfall?

I play doubtful

I only pause cuz I’m feeling heavy

What am I really scared of?

Cuz I just got back my wings

And I wanna make them sing

But what if I’m too weak to fly?

What if I’m too weak to FLY?

I’m blowing in your ear

You fear; all your doubt, but I’m here

Don’t worry

Don’t worry

You hurry

Don’t hurry

Slow down and spread your wings

Expand your wings

Expand your MIND

Expand your wings and fly

Don’t worry

Don’t worry

Don’t hurry

You hurry

Slow

down

and

just

fly

Fly

FLY!
