I’m beyond excited to announce my second solo show of the year, this time at the fantastical Field System in Ashburton.
Of Myth and Moor is a collection of fourteen original works inspired by the wildlife and folklore of Dartmoor. Presented in antique frames, the pieces bring together creatures that can be found on the moor today and those that, depending on who you ask, can still be found there too. Snakes and slugs sit alongside spectral visitors and local legends, blurring the line between natural history and folklore. Several works also incorporate gold leaf for the first time, representing the magic of a landscape where fact and fiction live side by side.
The exhibiton runs from 27th June - 25th July and all pieces are available to purchase online via the link below:
