Back-to-School Memories

Hello friends,

Can you believe it’s already back-to-school season?

Every year when August rolls around, I find myself remembering all the things I loved about the start of a new school year.

I loved shopping for school supplies.

There was something exciting about fresh notebooks, unopened packages of pencils, colorful folders, and brand-new pens that actually worked.

And then there were the new clothes.

Nothing made me feel more prepared for the year ahead than showing up on the first day wearing something new and hoping nobody noticed how nervous I was.

But if I’m being honest, my favorite part was seeing my friends again.

After an entire summer apart, the first day of school felt like a reunion. Everyone had stories to tell about vacations, summer jobs, family adventures, and all the things that happened during those long summer months.

It was the beginning of a new chapter.

Maybe that’s why I still love August. It always feels like a fresh start.

Now I want to know:
