How my accounts and emails got mixed

I was going to delete this entire substack account, since it was in fact unavailable for a long period of time, caught in a catch 22 of me updating it too quickly to catch up with its own changes, therefore creating a confusion of which email address actually went with which substack account. And to compound confusion, at the same time I was trying to get my posts exported so I could move to another platform (Ghost), about then lots of changes (improvements I suppose) started occurring at Substack, and I could not keep up. I got lost on the meaning of the simple term “subscription.” I should have understood right away the difference between a subscriber and a subscription, but no matter. No need to recount. I wrote a few posts on the subject, but who wants to go thru any of that mess again?

Like I said above, I don’t want to recount the episodes. These articles relate. Maybe some future substack historian will take note of these oddities, or no one will ever care. I am pretty tired of it all. And even now, I can’t add tags to this article or post the way I’ve done before. Probably there is a way, but do I want to figure out how? No.
