I thought, I’ll just look at the headlines. Nope. The world is a mess. And until the “talking heads” with their opinions actually start positing something about how to do something, they’re just noisy opinions. I don’t know if just reporting on the truth about things does anything. People are tired and stressed. Scaring people works well but “selling” the idea of having to put up with the kind of hardships now happening to average people for “something” (climate? peace? justice?) just hasn’t worked. Perhaps they haven’t tried selling it? I don’t know. What’s happening now is not “inevitable” change, but orchestrated. I believe now that the majority of Canadians are willing somehow to give up freedom of speech and democracy. Why should I rant against these losses? The price paid for sanity is ignorance. And so I will remain ignorant for at least the next month. There is only so much a human being can endure. I kind of liked freedom of speech. It was the most vital thing we had. Absolutely vital to any system that values people. All people. Meanwhile, let the talking heads carry on. Nobody is listening anymore. I pity anybody trying to follow the wars going on. There is no truth. Only propaganda. The only truth is that someone is making a lot of money from these wars. Everything changes but nothing does. Not at its heart. That heart of darkness in the human condition. Love and peace everyone. We endure.
