This isn’t automation around the edges, it’s automating the core judgment layer of cyber defense.
That conviction is already being validated by the market. Despite being early, Asymmetric is working with the world’s largest global insurers, and their AI platform has already helped cyber incident responders move faster and more effectively against hundreds of cyber attacks—clear evidence that organizations are hungry for deeper, more reliable security outcomes.
By starting as a DFIR services company, Asymmetric gets access to something most security startups never see: real incidents, real adversaries, and real stakes. Every investigation feeds a compounding loop—high-fidelity data and expert reasoning traces that make the system meaningfully better over time. This is how you build defensive systems that hold up against adaptive attackers, not just yesterday’s threats.
We’ve seen this movie before. CrowdStrike began as an incident response services provider before redefining endpoint security for the cloud era. In the AI era, the opportunity is even larger.
