It’s been a while since I posted here but I wanted to announce an exciting new forthcoming zine collaboration with my friend Wafaa Alothmani. I was entranced by Wafaa’s lyrical prose and it resonated with me. I thought to myself, “you don’t need to be in the middle of a two-year genocide to get something out of these articles.”
I will be sharing more of Wafaa’s thoughts in zine issues throughout the next few months. It is a way for Wafaa to ply her craft and receive some funds, as there will be a small fee, but the main purpose is creative. I have the order page up and the e-zine done, but I need to go sort out the printed edition - I’m in touch with a local printing place that has been highly recommended to me and the PDF is ready so hopefully won’t be long.
I will update on Substack and Wordpress once the page is ready. But I think you guys will really enjoy it.
