Susan Gladstein · Faith Over Pharma

If you’ve noticed it’s been a minute since a new podcast episode dropped, here’s the honest update.

Life has been a little loud over here.

A 9-month-old who no longer sleeps through recordings and insists on providing his own commentary. A household to juggle. Homeschooling. And managing most days solo while my husband has been hustling hard at the fire department so we can fully retire soon and take off for months at a time, roadschooling in our infamous RV, Pickle.

It’s been a full season.

I also made the intentional choice to take time off over the holidays. I’m a firm believer in not adding unnecessary stress and choosing presence with my kids when life already feels full. That pause mattered.

And now — we’re back.

New episodes every week, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s coming next.

This week’s episode felt like the perfect one to return with.

If you’ve been told your labs are “normal” but you still feel exhausted, foggy, inflamed, or just off, this conversation is for you.

So many women reach a point where they’ve followed the advice, done the “right” things, and yet something still doesn’t feel right. Hormone imbalance, chronic fatigue, inflammation, fertility challenges, and lingering symptoms are often dismissed or normalized when test results don’t raise obvious red flags.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Why symptoms rarely exist in isolation

  • How stress, blood sugar instability, inflammation, detox overload, and nervous system strain overlap

  • Why chasing symptoms alone can keep you stuck

  • And why your body isn’t failing — it’s communicating

If you’re in that in-between space — not sick enough to panic, but not well enough to ignore — this episode may help a few things click into place.

Thank you for being here — even in the pauses. 🤍

If this resonated, I’d love to hear from you. What’s something you were told was “nothing to worry about,” but your body clearly said otherwise?
