I say this every single time I post a new Creami recipe, but this one is actually the one. Better texture, better flavor, better everything than the last recipe I shared — and that’s saying a lot, because our last recipe was very good. And for the record, this isn’t just my opinion — it’s also the opinion of our 4 boys, who can generally smell a health hack a mile away and run for the hills. With this one? No idea.
Here’s the thing about trying to eat better: nobody quits sugar because they stopped wanting it. So instead of pretending we don’t want dessert, the better move is figuring out how to have it — protein-packed, portion-sized, and something you’re not white-knuckling your way past in the freezer aisle. That’s the whole reason I keep tinkering with these recipes: the key to a healthy, long life is making sure you enjoy the ride!
Mine absolutely is — and the Creami is the one piece of equipment that actually delivers. Regular “healthy” ice cream swaps usually taste like a compromise — icy, grainy, or just sad. The Creami fixes the texture problem entirely. You freeze a protein shake solid, spin it, and it comes out scoopable and creamy like the real thing, because texture-wise, it basically is the real thing. Once you get the base right, you can build any flavor you want around it — which is exactly what happened here.
1½ cups (360 mL) Fairlife milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 tbsp sugar-free chocolate pudding mix
2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
½ tsp vanilla extract
Monk fruit sweetener to taste (usually 1–2 tsp if needed)
2–3 mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
Blend everything except the Reese’s until completely smooth.
Freeze for 24 hours.
Key step, don’t skip this one: run the container under warm water for 60 seconds, then scrape down the edges with a knife to loosen it. This is the step almost everyone skips, and it’s exactly what ruins the consistency if you do.
Spin on Lite Ice Cream.
Add 1–2 tbsp Fairlife milk if crumbly and Re-Spin.
Add chopped Reese’s and use the Mix-In setting.
That’s it. Smooth, chocolate-peanut-butter, actual Reese’s cups folded through — no compromise required.
If you’re ready to get back to feeling your best, stay tuned. Once school’s back in session, I’m launching a new challenge — because let’s be real, once the kids are back on a schedule, it’s time to get back to focusing on our own health too. More details coming soon!
For now, here’s my FREE 5-day running challenge guide. Believe you me, I never thought I’d be this excited about running, but I’ve seen my HRV double (which I thought was literally impossible as a parent to 4 boys) and my RHR hit below 40 the other night (which is actually mind blowing). I feel less stressed, more energized, and happier. This is meant for anyone who wants to feel the same.
