Hi friends!! It’s been a minute…
Since I last shared here, I launched a new website, got engaged (!), celebrated some of my best friends’ weddings, traveled to New York, London, Mexico, Australia, Fiji, and Mexico again, and worked from about every form of transportation you can imagine.
I’m SO grateful to work with so many of you to plan your honeymoons, family trips, weekend getaways, Euro summer adventures and more! With that said, this year has been a whirlwind and I’m excited to get back to sharing here more regularly.
If you’re new or if you’ve been around for a while, thank you so much for being here. I hope this corner of the internet inspires you to get out and explore, near or far.
Let me know where you’re heading this summer in the comments!
x
Allison
Hotel Crush:
Casa Newton - A boutique gem in the Val d'Orcia countryside in Tuscany, close to the town of Pienza. This property is made for the Italian art of dolce far niente: the sweetness of doing nothing (ideally with a glass of wine in hand). With only 11 rooms total, I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
You may have seen their poolside pink umbrellas on Instagram.
Recent Stays:
The Chancery Rosewood - I had the chance to stay at the newest Rosewood in London earlier this year and my goodness, she’s pretty! One of London’s most anticipated luxury hotel openings, and set in the historic former U.S. Embassy building in Mayfair, the property has been completely transformed. I was upgraded to a Premier Suite and this may be the biggest room I’ve ever stayed in… With 6+ restaurants and bars onsite, there’s something to satisfy every traveler, including the new Carbone. It’s a strong new contender in the competitive luxury hotel market in London, best for the traveler that prefers a contemporary feel.
I just returned from a stunning (!) wedding at Esperanza, Auberge Collection for one of my college besties. Truly the most beautiful weekend. I’ve visited this property once prior and my second time around was just as great as I remembered it. We stayed in the Oceanview Spa Casita which has its own private jacuzzi on the deck…yes please. Definitely the room to book for a honeymoon or anniversary trip, and the place to be for sunset after a long day by the pool. The food is fresh and delicious (book dinner at Cocina Del Mar for a special oceanfront dining experience!), the pool views are hard to beat and the service is 10/10. A relatively easy-to-reach oceanfront escape from LA, and one I'd return to without hesitation.
The view from our jacuzzi.
So much to share from my time spent in Australia…more soon!
