Introducing: How to Submit Your Writing!

Hi everyone, we’re so excited to introduce you to our new column: How to Submit Your Writing! And the brilliant and wildly experienced Andrea A. Firth will be heading up this very asked for and needed corner of the Sub Club you know and love. Over the last couple weeks, she and I worked on the shape this will take on all the topics there are to cover and dive into and let me tell you…there is a shit ton of amazing stuff here. In case you don’t know Andrea in a professional capacity, here’s her impressive bio and hot photo (sorry not sorry Andrea):

​Andrea A. Firth is an Editor at Brevity Blog and cofounder of Diablo Writers’ Workshop. She has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Saint Mary’s College of California. Her writing focus is personal essay, and she was finalist for The Missouri Review’s 2021 Perkoff Prize in creative nonfiction. Her work has appeared in Dorothy Parker’s Ashes, Allium, Please See Me, Motherwell, The Coachella Review among others. She has also worked as journalist and has published hundreds of articles in news outlets and magazines. Learn more about her and read her recent work here.
